Fresh off their buzz generating appearance at this year’s LAMC in New York City, Bomba Estereo rocked Chicago’s Green Dolphin as part of Arte Y Vida’s month long celebration of Colombian music. From the moment Bomba took the stage it is no understatement to say that the crowd was whipped into a frenzy. Vocalist/MC Liliana Saumet paced the show and the crowd with a set of songs off of 2009′s Blow Up (Nacional Records). The crowd sang along, jumped, clapped and danced to the electro vacilon, or electro-Tropical as the band have described their music.
