Way back when this little blog that shouldn’t first went live I featured DJ Tony Cano for my very first “5 With” post. He was kind enough to take some time to participate and gave me very thoughtful and interesting answers. So I am beyond thrilled to announce that this Sunday, January 9, 2011, Tony will be part of a photo shoot featuring the 100 most influential Chicago House Music DJs. This is part of the first annual Chicago House Music DJ Day. The photo shoot is closed to the public but there’s an after party at The Shrine that kicks off at 9p.m. I can’t wait to hear all about the photo shoot. I checked in with Tony who told me: “I am honored and humbled by being selected to participate in the photo shoot. Some of the DJs participating were the guys I would hear on the radio at the age of 10 years old and inspired me to get involved in the art of mixing.” Congrats Tony!
