Ellie Greenwich passed away today at the age of 68 after suffering a massive heart attack. This is #3 today (Ted Kennedy and Dominick Dunne being the other two). I give up. She wrote Be My Baby which went on to become a hit in the 1963 for The Ronettes. Also came in at #22 for Rolling Stone’s 500 greatest songs of all time. RIP Ellie. Check out her full wiki bio HERE.
