‘Member when Shakira was a hippie little chick with a guitar singing/yodeling “Moscas En La Casa”? The she slithered her way to the top of American pop charts with hits like the over played “Hips Don’t Lie” and “Wherever, Whenever?” Ah…look at her now. After a break from performing and recording she’s back sporting blonde hair that would make Brigitte Bardot squeal and a flesh colored body suit that looks good on no one, not even her. She Wolf, a jerky disco number, is the new single for her upcoming new album due in October. She’s even gone and done an interesting viral marketing campaign in anticipation of the new single which you can check out HERE.  I’ve watched this a couple times and it doesn’t feel right, it just feels like a lame imitation of Beyonce or Lada Gaga.  Who knows, maybe after hearing it on the radio 1000 times it’ll grow on me.
